Karin Dreijer Andersson of the Knife is putting out a Fever Ray 7-inch featuring two covers: "Stranger than Kidness" by Nick Cave and Anita Lane, and "Here Before" by Vashti Bunyan. Gorilla vs. Bear has a stream of Fever Ray's take on "Here Before," and it's probably what your mind conjures up when you imagine Fever Ray covering Vashti Bunyan; Bunyan's wistful original is nowhere to be found in Fever Ray's faithful, though supremely eerie take, which starts out sounding a bit like Bruce Springsteen's "I'm on Fire."
