Felt: "Felt Chewed Up" (Video)
Felt -- MCs Slug and Murs with producer Aesop Rock -- already posted a clip today of how they saved Thanksgiving. And now they're premiering the visuals for "Felt Chewed Up," which is the second single off Felt 3: A Tribute To Rosie Perez. The video features a youngster driving around a city on his big wheel. His journey leads to a run-in with a bus full of dudes and eventually a few groupies. He then launches into space with the ladies still on his tail. It doesn't make a shitload of sense but the art style's rather fetching and the song itself is great. I'm hoping they keep promoting Felt 3: A Tribute To Rosie Perez, which is in stores now, because it has potential to catch on with a bigger audience. It might not be the best Felt album -- that would be the second installment -- but it's still a solid record.

Really Felt 3 is not the best Felt record? Best as in what? Production? Creativity? Originality? I'd say it's damn near impossible to fairly gauge any Felt record because the dynamics have been so different for each album. I'd say this album is one of the more refreshing hip hop albums out this year period.
