A few weeks back we saw Feist perform “How Come You Never Go There” on David Letterman’s show, and last night she hopped over the Atlantic to play it again for Jools Holland. This is easily one of the standout tracks on Metals, with Feist really utilizing both her own vocal power and that of her talented backing singers. It’s got an odd, slightly drunken feeling, akin to swaying back and forth on a boat in a terrible storm. The best part is be the guitar/horn dual that comes just before the midway point, which helps shape the dramatic feel of the song. Check it out below.
