Yes, you read that top part right. Austra, the goth-pop group from Toronto release the deluxe edition of their great Feel It Break today, and there is a new bonus disc of remixes. One of those remixes is by the dude with the clown mask in Slipknot, and it’s actually pretty great. He turns “Beat and the Pulse” into one of the scariest tracks of the year, making it seem like the soundtrack to the S&M club scene in Seven. Maybe this will trigger some indie rock love for the dudes in Slipknot? Anything is possible, I suppose. Stream it below.
