Channeling his inner Syd Barrett, Alec Morgan, a.k.a. Fawn and Rabbit, has put together a brilliant cover of one of the most influential bands of all-time's early days. The cover maintains the same rhythm and backbone, but here Fawn and Rabbit ramps things up with a bigger sound and a full, chiming soundscape filling every layer with pristine precision. Executed nearly perfectly, the chorus adds a distinctly different drum pattern, which differs the cover from the original and puts a nice spin on things. By the time the song ends, you're enthralled that a Pink Floyd cover sounds this damn good. This track is on Fawn and Rabbit's upcoming EP, which will drop this fall.
