Faunts: "It Hurts Me All of the Time" (Video)

Dear Music Video Directors,

Can you please stop with the videos that feature people getting splashed with paint (or paint-like substances) in front of white backgrounds? I realize you're on a tight budget, but no matter how hard you try, paint is not a metaphor for anything. Plus you're about the 14,506th director to try that particular video technique. Hell, I'm not even in a band or a music video ho, and I'm pretty sure I've starred in at least 10 music videos where I was splashed with paint. Granted, sometimes the paint thing can look sorta cool (like when you make it come out of water balloons, like the video above for Faunts' brittle "It Hurts Me All the Time"), but it's still played out. Do more videos with car crashes, please.
