Here we have a pretty smart marketing move from Fashawn's camp. The above video works to promote both his fantastic 2009 debut, Boy Meets World, and his forthcoming Grizzly City 3 mixtape, which drops later this month. "The Ecology" is a perfect representation of the growing-up/surviving-the-times tales you hear throughout his debut. And it's presented rather well in its raw form by director Punit Dhesi. The video then switches gears perfectly in the middle for the straightforward bravado of "The Score," which features one of Fash's heroes, Planet Asia. The latter track serves as what will likely be the tough-guy, no-nonsense tone of Grizzly City 3. Well done, guys.
