Fashawn: 'Higher Learning 2' (Mixtape)
Since Fashawn dropped his proper debut, Boy Meets World, in 2009, it would appear that the young Fresno, Calif.-native's heart has been in two places: The road and the studio. He has embarked on several tours, which have included an opening slot for Brother Ali (which was awesome) and his current jaunt through across the West Coast with Evidence.
Fash has also released three mixtapes in Ode to Illmatic, Grizzly City 3, and now Higher Learning 2. This new project features guests such as J. Cole, GLC, John Legend, and Common along with beats from J. Cole, Phonix, and Javelin. As solid as these mixtapes are -- and who can complain about free music? -- let's hope he provides an update on his sophomore album, The Ecology, soon.
