While we're still waiting to hear any news regarding Fashawn's sophomore album, The Ecology, the Fresno, Calif. native has apparently chosen to turn one of his recent mixtape tracks into a proper single. With good reason. Because "Down That Road," which appears on Higher Learning 2, is probably the poppiest track he has recorded to date. It is kind of like a less urgent/sugary version of B.o.B's "Nuthin' On You" because as the video shows, "Down That Road" isn't a proper love tale. Whether or not this will bring Fash some mainstream attention remains to be seen, but I for one think it's likely.
