
Some of these "bands to watch," it just seems like they intend to string us along with demos and remixes until we collapse at their feet with dry, musically-starved ears, begging for an album. Fan Death, I'm sorry to say, is one of these. This demo of new track "Jealously" sounds like it will do a pretty good job of preserving the Fan Death spotlight, with Dandi's crisp vocals taking up most of its space, but it would be so much better if there were ten more tracks to go with it. Maybe this is weird, but I prefer how artists do this nowadays. I think I'd be the same way and not put out the official product until I was satisfied.
It's probably better marketing, and easier on the artist. A lot of those bands that rush their album end up disappearing in a year or so anyway.
