Fall Out Boy

Tiffany Blews ft. Lil Wayne (MP3)

Average Rating: 10.00

What is up with hip-hop artists lining up to work with Fall Out Boy? First it was Jay-Z, then it was the Roots, and now it's Lil Wayne, who guests on "Tiffany Blews" and has the biggest WTF? moment of the week (the month likely, and the year probably) in the song's third verse when he whispers/sings in Auto-Tune on the track in a segment that makes no sense in the context of the song whatsoever. It's like Fall Out Boy called Wayne up to drop a few bars and he was so out of his mind on cough syrup, all he could do was mumble and sing into an Auto-Tuner. And instead of spiking Wayne's contribution, Fall Out Boy decided to keep it in. Weird stuff here guys.

"Tiffany Blews" is on Fall Out Boy's Folie A Deux, which is due out on December 16 via Island. [Nahright]

track is hot. It's interesting how Weezy makes a hot track even better with a short, out of content verse. It's amazing how it works well together.

I agree w/ Perfect. it was recorded without lil wayne too btw. It sounds great with or with out him, but I prefer teh version with him becasue the effects on his vox match the context of his lyrics (which is a surprisingly emo verse, even more emo than the rest of the song imo)

lil wayne killed it

December 14, 2008 at 4:40 p.m.

I gotta agree with kait!
Why should this site slag the song off?
Its a mazin song!
and Fall Out Boy are an amazin band!
and the reason they tend to have hip-hop artist's and stuff in there songs is 'cause, one Patrick's a producer so he would know people like Timberland, and two, Pete is tryin to be a dj and he knows a lot of people
plus, its fob for christ sake! they have THEE most randomess lyrics! The only band that beats them is PATD
so yea, person who wrote this article should go listen to the song properley and listen to 'Follie A Deux'

they've collaborated with timbaland [One and Only (feat. Fall Out Boy) - Timbaland] and Kanye west too.. [This Ain't a Scene It's an Arms race (Kanye West Remix) - Fall out boy]

Musically the cd is the best cd Fall out boy has produced. They've come a long way as musicians, no longer just angsting into a microphone. Adding other artists to their tracks isn't just an artistic thing to do, it's also incredibly smart and selfish. Think about it; by adding these people they're gaining new musical knowledge to their experience, gaining a lot of new ways to compose music. The composition of this album is far above anything else they've done in the past. They touched this in a very small way in Infinity on High during songs like Golden. Even that doesn't compare to the way they took their understanding of music, their love for it and their creativity and put it into this incredibly album.

WTF....was he in the wrong studio when he recorded that? Why Fall Out Boy? Why only 3 lines? Weezy Noooo!

Oh please, you kiddies need to learn about real music. This music is s***. Your generation ruins it for us all by contributing to their bank account and making them famous. If it weren't for you idiots doing that, we would still have real artists putting out real music. Get a clue and go to bed it's past your bedtime.

i think this is a great song. Fall out boys lyrics have always been all over the place and lil waynes part just makes it all the more interesting:-) times are changing and music is taking a big step from being about all the same things. Its great that artist from different genres can come together and make music. GET OUT OFF THE BOX AND COME INTO THE 21ST CENTURY PEOPLE!!!!!!
