Exile's "Sound of God," then called "The Sound of God," originally appeared on the West Coast producer's fantastic 2009 album, Radio. Like other tracks on the record, it showcased Ex's experimental side and is ability to craft a catchy tune out of sounds he ripped from the radio. He then outsourced all of the album's tracks to a slew of producers and MCs for AM/FM, which dropped last year.
The resulting effort was an unbalanced affair, though his camp clearly knows which songs to choose as a single. As such, it's not surprising that we're seeing visuals for album-highlight "Sound of God," which features Chicago's MC ADaD showing off his storytelling skills. Fittingly, the visuals follow the rapper's account of a young man trying to find his way in the world. Is it just me or are storytelling tracks like this just the best?
