Exile: 'Radio' (Mixtape)

First, Exile served up an innovative instrumental album, Radio, in 2009 that found the California producer creating beats from samples from his, well, radio. He then serviced the tracks to his buddies to craft a new album of remixes. So many rappers and producers submitted remixes that he first released a free mixtape of the leftovers, called Radio Bonus, before dropping the official record, AM/FM. Exile was clearly not done with this multi-release project, as he linked with Flud Watches to create a brand new Radio-themed boombox watch, along with an exclusive mix. The mix features Exile blending together tracks from AM/FM in the original order of his Radio album, something I kind of wish he did in the first place. .
