Erykah Badu: "Window Seat" (Live on Fallon) (Video)

The anticipation surrounding Erykah Badu’s New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh) is growing considerably by the day, and she stoked those flames by making an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show last night (March 3). Naturally, Badu enlisted the Roots to give her a little help with this version of “Window Seat.”

There are many different sides to Badu’s music, and this is where she hits a straightforward mellow groove, demonstrating her impressive vocal range and knack for a sublime melody. Nice hat, too. Expect great, and wildly diverse things from New Amerykah Part Two when it drops on March 30.
