Nearly five months later, Erykah Badu returns with a video for the second movement of "Out My Mind, Just In Time." As it appears on 2010's excellent New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh), the track is a sprawling, three-part romp that perfectly closes the album. But rather than release one video with a 10:21 running time, she has split the song's movements up into separate pieces. It's a smart move, for sure, and it's one that allows for each portion to shine in its own light. Badu, who directed the video with Coodie & Shike, retains the minimalist beauty of the first movement while complementing the claustrophobic, building nature of the track.
