Without question, the Shady Records roster held the best freestyle cypher at this year's BET Hip-Hop Awards. Sure there were other highlights, most notably Kendrick Lamar's verse, but Eminem and his crew were untouchable. From Yelawolf's rapidfire opening verse to Joe Budden's nearly show-stealing bars to Royce da 5'9"'s hilarious "Hi Rihanna!" lines, everyone involved showed why critics continue to fawn over their technical skills. And thankfully for all us rap nerds, someone out there got their hands on the uncensored version of the cypher and uploaded it for streaming. I know what I'm listening to for the next 20 minutes. You can check it out below. [Rap Radar]
Update: The uncensored video of the cypher has appeared online, too. Awesome and well worth checking again. And again. And maybe again after that. Seriously, why can't Eminem rap like this more often on his albums? No shots, of course, but it's just great to hear him just straight spitting again.
