Come February Portland's Eluvium will be releasing his latest full-length, Similes. From that disc is "The Motion Makes Me Last," which kind of sounds dirty. The track skitters along on a groove that sounds a bit like listening to Four Tet's "Spirit Fingers" from one house over. Vocals (!) from Matthew Cooper and echoing, otherworldy piano give the song an emotional core that weaves effortlessly through the electronic haze. [Pitchfork]
