North American fans of Electrelane are still hurting due to the lack of tour dates on this side of the Atlantic during the band’s recent reunion. The tour included a date at the Field Day festival in the U.K., and this video of the group performing in the back of a black cab after the event may just make up for the fact that they’re missing out on playing these shores. It’s unusual to hear “On Parade” from The Power Out performed in this way, with its steely Neu! backing and post punk guitars all stripped away, but it’s pretty hard not to be sucked in by the catchy hook-laden structure.
