Earnest Manchester rockers Elbow are back with a new record—their first since The Seldom Seen Kid in 2008—which is titled Build a Rocket Boys! They’ve never really taken off in the U.S. in the same way their obvious musical doppelgangers Coldplay have, and that current record has only reached No. 151 on the Billboard 200, so there’s not much sign of that changing any time soon. But they are still huge in the U.K., where the album reached No. 2, and was promoted by this appearance on Jools Holland’s show last night (April 5). This is an anthemic, chant-along track that comes complete with a vast choir and some heartfelt emoting form a rather portly looking Guy Garvey.
