"Papillon" (Video)

Remember back when every band with a U2-esque sense of grandeur and a singer that allegedly sounded like Ian Curtis but really sounded just like Paul Banks could get huge publicity? Editors were one of those bands, and they're coming back with a new album next month (In This Light and On This Evening, due out on Oct. 13 in the U.K.). The group has released a video for "Papillon," the first single from said album, which features a guy trying to outrun his "papillon," which is a tiny French dog that looks like it could be foiled by sitting on a bed. I mean, it doesn't look like it could jump very high. (Actually, the song is allegedly based on a book of the same name, but the dog version seems more likely given the video's narrative arc.)
