The latest video from British post-punker Ebony Bones is a DIY collaboration which uses 30 directors in 20 cities across the globe, capturing footage of Ebony's fans dancing in different locales. As expected, the people on camera either share Ebony Bones' garish fashion sensibility or an exuberance fitting for a track that apes Talking Heads at its funkiest. When compared to previous singles like "Don't Fart On My Heart" or "We Know All About You," "The Musik" is easily her most accessible song to date, lessening the darker, apocalyptic tones, while still providing the right elements to make a person spaz out on the dancefloor, much like most of the folks in the video.
Ebony Bones' debut album, Bone of My Bones, will be released on Sunday Best Records June 29th in the U.K. and in North America at a date to be determined. [MTV News via The Fader]
