As a kid, I used to love going to the Sharper Image to play with those pin art things that you could use to make an imprint of your middle finger. Then I actually got one, and it lost its luster. Making your middle finger in one of those things was cool when old women would admonish you for being a miscreant, but not when you’re alone in your room laughing to yourself.

Eagles of Death Metal restore some of the lewdness to the pin art by using it to animate the video for their new single, “Wannabe in L.A.” The video is pretty literal: the landmarks mentioned in the song pop up on the pins, but the song’s lameness (or greatness, I can’t tell if this is a joke or not) is certainly helped by the video.
