When I saw Eagles of Death Metal open for the Strokes a few years back, Josh Homme was serving as the group’s drummer, but apparently the guy’s role has been downgraded—in this clip from the band’s performance on Jimmy Kimmel on Monday, Homme sings back-up vocals and plays tambourine (dude, killer trench). The band played “Wannabe in L.A.,” which, removed from the sleazy visuals of both versions of its music video, seems kind of plodding and boring.

About of a third of the way through the song Jesse's Guitar popped 2 strings. I think that killed any rocking that was to be done on that track. A roadie somewhere is getting fired.
