Dwele, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson: "Angel" (J Dilla Cover) (Video)

OK, so it's not a cover in the typical sense. Dwele was actually featured on "Angel," which appeared on J Dilla's posthumous The Shining. But, then again, it is technically a cover because it is Miguel Atwood-Ferguson's orchestra's take on the track. And, admittedly, what a cover it is. "Angel," an already gorgeous, atmospheric track, is made that much grander by Ferguson's group, especially during the hook. They also make the track funkier while Dwele croons his verses.

"Angel" appears on Timeless: Suite for Ma Dukes, which drops March 30. You can view the video of the performance here.
