Duran Duran are doing the rounds of the late night TV talks shows to promote their current album All You Need Is Now, which included a stop at Jimmy Kimmel’s outdoor stage last night (March 30). They performed the title track from that new record (above), but longstanding fans of the band are likely to be more interested in the performance of the 1986 single “Notorious” (below). It’s a faithful replication of that track, and shows how well they could combine Chic-style guitar grooves with stabs of horns and an undeniably catchy chorus (that “don’t monkey with my business” line still sounds horribly clunky though).
