Already, there are lots of reasons to look forward to Dum Dum Girls' debut album on March 30 but -- as if to quell any doubts -- a video of Dee Dee and Co. performing live is circulating, and it's as good a reason as ever to want to hear lots more. Judging from the chorus, this is "Rest of Our Lives," track number five on the upcoming Sub Pop release. Aside from being one of the most hi-fi recordings of any live lo-fi band performance in recent (or distant) memory, it highlights all that's good with DDG: Dee Dee's warm lead vocals, the girl-group steeped melodies, the first-dance feeling that surrounds the whole thing. It's a pretty beautiful performance of a fairly simple song, and one that's absolutely worth watching. [Gorilla Vs. Bear]
