Dum Dum Girls were one of the more publicized bands coming out of SXSW, so it's not surprising that the video for their single, "Jail La La," is coming out right now. In the clip, lead singer Dee Dee gets accosted by a man who has arrested her, while her band rocks it out in black and white. It's hard to watch/listen to Dum Dum Girls without thinking about what the Vivian Girls hath wrought: With out the Vivs, would we be buried in lo-fi girl rock groups doing this retro-schtick? I would bet not.
