The producers of Jimmy Kimmel’s show may be brave or foolhardy, or perhaps they just have a better grasp on how to control a large outdoor crowd for a Drake show than certain folks in New York City. Either way, the hip-hop star appeared on the show last night (June 24) to deliver “Bedrock” with Nicki Minaj and a solo version of the rocked-out “Over.”
Minaj just about manages to keep the performance PG rated, and the two-song set is distinctly more energetic than the previous night’s somewhat lackluster Leno appearance. Clearly Drake thrives on performing before a huge crowd, and he complemented the appearance with a two-part interview with Kimmel (below).
