Drake: "Best I Ever Had" (Video)

· by

Update - July 2, 2009:

As a standard rap video, the Kanye West-directed clip for Drake's "Best I Ever Had" is fine, but when the video's director constantly bandies about his high fashion show attendance rate and his love for Takashi Murakami, people expect a little bit more than this clip's hearty helping of hip-hop video standards (read: hot chicks) and awkward dialogue breaks (also actor Drake tepidly insisting that each member of his team is "the best"). Especially considering the romantic tilt of the song, it definitely seems like the lame basketball coach storyline was a really forced excuse to put some grade A skin in the video. But to West's credit, that "Mighty Ducks" line is pretty good, and if West wrote it he deserves a nod for that, at least.

From this point on, we are obliged to refer to this song as "Breast I Ever Had."
