The Ted Passon-directed video for Dr. Dog's "Shadow People" has the band performing in the middle of a roller rink while a troupe of older skaters shows off their moves around them. I don't remember ever being allowed to have sparklers on the skating floor, but these roller-vets bust them out anyway near the clip's end. It's the latest entry in indie rock's recent fixation with putting old people in videos and having them do unexpected things.
