Doves: "Kingdom of Rust" (Video)

It seems like it has been a lot longer than four years since Doves last released an album (2005's Some Cities), but the band is set to come back this year with Kingdom of Rust. The album isn't due out until April 7, but the title track has just got an epic music video that finds a guy cruising in a hoopdie around, what one presumes, the titular Kingdom of Rust. Then it turns out he's trying to find a suitable place to spread someone's ashes. The song is a jangly, shuffling uplifter, reminiscent of the band's better moments on Some Cities.

Kingdom of Rust is due out on April 7 via Astralwerks. [Pitchfork]
