Dom, Gucci Mane: Dom: "Living In America" Remix f. Gucci Mane
Dom is a Massachusetts pop outfit that makes jams more geared towards fans of acts like MGMT and Passion Pit. That's why it was surprising this past summer when pictures of Dom in the studio with Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane turned up on the Internet. Several months later, we have the product of that session; a slowed down version of Dom's "Living in America" featuring drops by Gucci. The cut has a distinctly cosmic feel to it- more "Trap Space Station" than Trap House.
You can listen to the Gucci Mane remix of "Living In America" over at Pitchfork. The day after this Valentine's Day Astralwerks/Burning Mill are set to release a remixed version of Dom's Sun Bronzed Greek Gods full-length, but that album will not feature this version of "Living In America."
