DMX: "Get Your Money Up" (prod. Swizz Beatz)
DMX's latest track, "Get Your Money Up," was premiered by the rapper at a series of shows held last year. But it's taken nearly seven months for the proper recorded version to finally reach the web. Maybe it's due to the fact that he was sentenced to another year in prison last December and his management didn't want to sit on the track any longer. Either way, "Get Your Money Up" attempts to recapture the magic X and Swizz Beatz shared on the rapper's late '90s albums. But it just sounds dated, though part of me now wants to revisit It's Dark And Hell Is Hot.
