In the aftermath of their MTV reality show -- which some regarded as modern-day minstrelsy -- Memphis's Oscar-winning rap collective Three 6 Mafia collaborated with Akon and Good Charlotte (Christ), occasionally finding time to release headache-inducing albums from Juicy J and Project Pat that nonetheless appeased their hardcore fans. Now, DJ Paul is firing back at those who are unhappy with his current sonic direction by releasing the blistering, guttural synth-rap number "Buy My Old Shit," featuring a Jay-Z sample.
