DJ Drama: "Words Of Advice" f. Lil' Wayne, Mack Maine & Kevin Cossom
DJ Drama is someone who’s crucially important to hip hop and yet incredibly annoying -- who really likes hearing his interludes on mixtapes? Drama is gearing up for another edition of his Gangsta Grillz: The Album series, and given the guy’s impressive rolodex, the album is worth getting excited about even if it will have too many distracting boasts and shout-outs. Following “Oh My,” which featured Wiz Khalifa and Fabolous, second single “Words of Advice” has a sizzling beat, a minimal amount of Drama shouting, and one of the more on-point Lil’ Wayne verses I’ve heard in a long time. I'm going to be real. The writing on this site really needs to step up. I come here for music news, and I can get that by reading the headline. There's no reason right now to click through and read the rest of the entry.
