Grime is now a mainstream phenomenon in the U.K., with Dizzee Rascal and Gang Gang Dance collaborator Tinchy Stryder both enjoying huge number 1 singles in the past year. There’s more of a pop/techno edge to Dizzee’s music these days, which may be a surprise to anyone who hasn’t followed his career since Boy in Da Corner, but has undoubtedly raised his profile.

Dizzee is still an incredible MC, and his ability to spit out words at an incredible clip has never waned. “Bonkers” is a collaboration with producer Armand Van Helden, and is taken from his forthcoming album Tongue N’ Cheek. Dizzee still seems to think it’s Halloween on this live performance of the song, which was shot for Jonathan Ross’s talk show on Friday (May 8).
