Discovery: "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend" (ft. Angel Deradoorian) (MP3)

Discovery makes their R&B-riffing pop even more obvious with the addition of Dirty Projector Angel Deradoorian's spectacular voice on the sweetly named "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend." They chop-up Deradoorian's vocals, along with the rest of the track, so the song is a little bit less saccharine than you might want, depending on how many sugars you take in your pop. Fortunately, the result still suggests that Discovery's forthcoming LP might be one of the more interesting pop releases of 2009. [Fluxblog]
