Dirty Projectors: "Stillness Is the Move"/"Tell Me" (Groove Theory Cover ft. Solange) (Video)

It was only a matter of time before Knowles-family indie rock fan #1, Solange, did something with Dirty Projectors after her much-touted cover of "Stillness Is the Move." Solange joined Dirty Projectors onstage this past weekend at a NYC fashion week party for Opening Ceremony, and naturally, gave Amber Coffman a hand with the vocals for "Stillness."

What's cooler still, is that the band pulled out a cover of Groove Theory's 90s R&B cut "Tell Me." [Pitchfork]

The singles from her album were pretty decent. It would be interesting to see what she'd do on an indie label, I think.

Isn't that Erykah Badu that they are covering? It ain't Groove Theory!
