While in Australia to promote Bitte Orca in the South Pacific, Dirty Projectors dropped in at Triple J's Like a Version radio show, where bands play a current single and a cover. The band busted out a ruminative (and harmonious, no duh) take on Bob Dylan's "Dark Eyes," a deep cut from his 1985 album, Empire Burlesque. Winner for least obvious Bob Dylan cover of all time? Perhaps. Listen over at Stereogum.
This is very pretty. Dirty Projectors are pretty tolerable when they keep to the low-key folk aesthetic.
