The two B-sides from Dirty Projectors' Temecula Sunrise EP have hit the Hype Machine, and unsurprisingly, both of them are pretty damn great. "Ascending Melody" (here) is pretty self-explanatory; it's all vocal harmonics, ascending melodies, and hardly there instrumentation. "Emblem of the World" (here) is a bit more prickly, with Dave Longstreth dropping lines about choosing metaphors, performing partially solo with a train-like guitar line during the verses and being backed up mad harmonies in the choruses.
