Really, Dan Bejar & co. haven’t been on network television before? According to Destroyer’s label’s site, the group made its debut last night on Fallon with a performance of “Downtown” from the recent album Kaputt. True to recorded form, the affair was smooooth. Imagine being a teen in NYC, taking advantage of a week off from school by staying up late to watch TV and falling asleep to these yacht rock-worthy grooves.
