Deradoorian: "High Road" (Tanlines Remix) (Streaming)
It’s been a busy year for Angel Deradoorian, who has spent most of her time traveling the world in support of Dirty Projectors’ 2009 album Bitte Orca. So where does that leave her solo project, simply named Deradoorian, which released the excellent Mind Raft EP in May of last year?
Well, the answer is: pretty much back where it started, as Mind Raft has just been reissued on iTunes, complete with a series of previously unreleased remixes. Tanlines and the hotly tipped BRAHMS are among those who have given the Mind Raft tracks a reworking, and the former can be heard below, in a mix that combines Deradoorian’s drifty vocals with some steely beats.
