Department of Eagles: "You'll Never Know" (Live at SXSW) (Video)

Somewhere in between writing new songs for the excellent upcoming Grizzly Bear album, Veckatimest, and writing an album's worth of songs for Department of Eagles' latest album, In Ear Park, Daniel Rossen found time to write a new Department of Eagles track, "You'll Never Know," and perform the song live at Waterloo Records in Austin during SXSW. The video is above in lo-fo form, but the audio is pretty solid. The song is all harmonious vocals and sparse instrumentation, which par for the course when Rossen is involved. 

No word on when a new Department of Eagles record should be expected, but Grizzly Bear's Veckatimest is due out on May 26 via Warp.  [ You Ain't No Picasso ]
