History From Below is the latest album by San Diego’s Delta Spirit, and here they are playing a couple of tracks from it in on Jimmy Kimmel’s show. The group recently announced they would be playing Coachella this year, which is a fitting slot that mirrors the growing popularity of their slanted, Dodos-like take on conventional rock ‘n’ roll structure. “White Table” highlights the disjointed rhythms the band sometimes work into their music, while the very brief clip of “Bushwick Blues” offers a glimpse at their more straightforward (some may even say “barnstorming”) side.
