Usually you have to go to Jimmy Fallon's program for semi-ironic performances by old bands, but apparently it's an NBC thing: Here Def Leppard are playing on Leno last night, doing "Pour Some Sugar On Me" looking like the old lesbians they are now. The group is promoting a new live album, which is old rock band slang for "we need an influx of cash." At the very least, this allows me to trot out one of my favorite jokes: What has ten legs, nine arms, and sucks? Def Leppard! ZING!
