Bradford Cox took a break from releasing bedroom recordings and thwarting Sony last night (Dec. 2) to perform this version of “Helicopter” from Deerhunter’s Halcyon Digest on Conan O’Brien’s show. This was the band’s first time playing on national television but they don’t seem overawed by the experience, instead delivering a tight and dreamy version of the song that has matured nicely after a few month on the road. But the big question is: did Bradford bond with the Kardashian sisters, who were Conan’s other guests last night?
