Deerhunter are currently in the midst of a European tour, and they dropped by BBC 6 Music last night to hang out and get interviewed in between playing a pretty awesome set. After covering Magazine's "The Light Pours Out of Me" and playing their "Octet," they debut a brand new track they're calling "60 Cycle Hum." You can hear it by going here and skipping to the 49-minute mark. The song is a hummy strummer, and it was apparently written at soundcheck. Deerhunter can really crank these out apparently. Expect this to be stolen off Bradford Cox's hardrive later this year (probably). [P4K]
