Deerhoof’s new album, Offend Maggie, just got a live video for its first single, “The Tears and Music of Love,” filmed while the band were on tour in Tokyo this summer. The track is vintage Deerhoof—the guitars are loud and crunchy, drummer Greg Saunier is nearly unglued, and lead singer Satomi Matsuzaki coos over her melodic bass.

Offend Maggie is due out on October 7 via Kill Rock Stars. [Pitchfork]
