Death Cab for Cutie’s Codes and Keys may be picking up decidedly mixed reviews, but here the are again performing “You Are a Tourist” just as they did on Jimmy Fallon’s show a while back. The record was allegedly inspired by Brian Eno’s Another Green World, although it’s hard to see how and where that influence takes hold. “You Are a Tourist” is a pretty bland autopilot track with a reasonably catchy chorus. It ultimately rings a little hollow—there just doesn’t feel like there’s much substance to it when you dig beyond the spirited performance here on Conan O’Brien’s show.
