Deadmau5: "Codex" (Radiohead Cover)
It didn't take long for a high profile artist to cover a track from The King of Limbs. Step forward Joel Zimmerman, better known as deadmau5, who fulfilled that duty with this version of "Codex," which takes out Thom Yorke's vocal and leaves the piece floating in space as an instrumental jam. This version makes the song sound very soundtrack-y, not a million miles away from the kind of music Jonny Greenwood has been composing for films, but retaining the quiet grace of the Radiohead original.
